Do you sell contracts to customers in my country?
We sell to all countries worldwide except those for which export controls or other restrictions have been put in place by the US Department of State.
What is the definition of the contract period for 12 month and 24 month plans?
Regardless of the date when you purchased your mining contract, it operates from midnight UTC on the indicated activation date until midnight either 12 or 24 calendar months later, depending on the contract length purchased. For example: If a 12 month mining contract activates at 12:00 midnight on May 19th it will run until 11:59 PM on May 18th the following year.
When does my mining contract start?
Although your contractual obligations commence on the date that you place an order for a mining contract, the active mining period only begins on the indicated start date.
Is it possible to pay the hosting fees each in monthly installments instead of every 12 or 24 months?
Mining contracts must be paid upfront in full within seven days of order placement.
Can I cancel my mining contract before the end of the contract period?
Mining contracts cannot be cancelled by the customer, and are non-refundable.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept payment with Bitcoins via the Coinbase and BitPay services, or by bank wire transfer.
Can I send a wire transfer using my local currency?

I have a Bank of America branch near me. Can I walk in and pay directly into your account?
Yes, if you are in the USA you can walk into a Bank of America and make a counter deposit without being required to pay a wire transfer fee. You can find CoinTerra’s bank account information here.
When making a payment with a deposit slip, please write the order number on the slip and either take a digital photograph or ask the bank to make a photocopy.
After making payment, please go to http://verify.cointerra.com, enter your order confirmation details and upload the photograph or a scan of the deposit slip as proof of payment. We will then be able to more quickly associate the payment with your order and update our records when we have confirmed receipt of funds.I entered the bank information for the wire transfer but the Bank of America address comes up as being in New York or North Carolina. Is this correct?
You can proceed with the payment. When making the wire transfer, the routing number may identify the address as a New York or North Carolina branch. This is because the routing number can resolve as a Bank of America main branch rather than the local branch.
My bank is asking for your IBAN number. Do you have one?
The International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is the international standard for identifying international bank accounts across national borders. The IBAN is comprised of a maximum of 27 alphanumeric characters within Europe and a maximum of 34 outside of Europe. At present, the United States does not participate in IBAN. Therefore, Bank of America does not have an IBAN number. If your bank needs to format the account number and sort code into a format suitable for their internal systems, they will need to work out the syntax.
My bank is telling me that your BIC number is incorrect. Why is this?
The BIC number supplied is correct. Some banks may need to pad the BIC number with additional characters or digits, such as XXX or 000 (depending on the bank’s internal systems). We do not have any control over this.
I’m in the Austin, Texas area. Can I come by your office and pay in person?
Although you’re very welcome to come by and meet with us first (but please call or email us in advance to set up an appointment), we do ask that you make your payment at the local Bank of America branch (About 1 mile from our offices). We do not process payments at our offices.
How do I pay with Bitcoins?
During the checkout process, after entering your details you will be presented with the option to pay with Bitcoins via Coinbase or BitPay.
BitPay is compatible with all of the Bitcoin technical standards. However, not all Bitcoin wallets are compatible with the rest of the Bitcoin network. Some wallets do not send the transaction immediately, and some wallets deduct a fee from the transaction and send less than the requested amount. For that reason, please use a BitPay compatible wallet on this list.
PLEASE NOTE: Bitcoins are converted into US dollars by BitPay and Coinbase. We do not receive Bitcoins for payment directly.
What exchange rate does BitPay use?
BitPay uses a consolidated exchange rate taken from multiple exchanges to provide customers with a Bitcoin Best Bid (BBB) exchange rate. You can find out more about their rate here.
Can I pay for my order with a combination of Bitcoins and wire transfer?
Due to the complexities of processing orders in which payment is split between wire transfer and Bitcoin, we do not accept split-payment orders. If you are unable to place an order with either one or the other payment method, please contact customer support.
Can I pay in installments?
We do not currently accept payment in installments. Payment must be made in full within seven days of placing your order.
Do you offer credit terms?
We do not currently offer any credit terms.
Do you accept PayPal or credit/debit cards?
We do not currently accept PayPal or credit/debit cards due to PayPal and the card issuer’s terms of service.
I have placed an order and it is currently listed as “Order Received: Unpaid” or “Order Received: Paid”. What do these mean?
When an order is placed it is categorized in our system as being “Order Received: Unpaid” until such time payment has been received.
Once payment is confirmed as having been received in our bank account its status will be updated to “Order Received: Paid”, where it will remain until activation of the mining contract, at which time it will be categorized as “Active”. Please note that if payment of an “Order Received: Unpaid” order is not received within seven days it will be cancelled.

About CoinTerra
We are a team of highly experienced ASIC designers made up of alumni from tech industry giants including Intel, Samsung, Apple and Nvidia. You probably already own extremely high performance video cards, PCs, smart phones and tablets containing CPUs and GPUs that we designed in our previous lives. We banded together to focus our formidable expertise on revolutionizing Bitcoin mining technology. Our first product – the TerraMiner IV – shipped in January 2014 and when we deployed our 5,000th unit just three months later in April we were powering over 15% of the entire Bitcoin network. Now we have turned our focus to highly scalable, dependable mining contract solutions powered by our own hardware and plan on revolutionizing that market as well. CoinTerra initially raised its seed capital from angel investors in the Bitcoin and general technology sectors. As with other ASIC companies before us, we offered pre-orders in order to generate further cash flow for our initial production runs. We have primarily self-funded our further expansion. We post all open positions on our website here.
Sure, we love to meet with our current and prospective customers! Please contact our Customer Support team to arrange a date and time for your visit, and you can come on by, say howdy and chat Bitcoin mining for a little while.Who is CoinTerra?
